CHANGI ANIMAL AND PLANT QUARANTINE Introduction The Changi Animal and Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) is located within the premises of the Singapore Changi Airfreight Centre. The facility serves as the main gateway for all animals arriving in Singapore by air. Hence regardless of whether your pet is arriving at any of the Changi airport passenger terminals by excess baggage or at air freight center by cargo, it has to be transferred to CAPQ for post-arrival veterinary inspection. Your pet will only be released from CAPQ to you or the Sembawang Animal Quarantine Station (SAQS) once it has cleared all necessary checks and inspections. Opening hours Mon to Sat from 8.00 am - 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm - 10.30 pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. | Important! | If your pet arrived at the airport after CAPQ opening hours, it will remain in its crate at the airport holding facility until the next working day. Therefore please make sure your pet’s latest arrival time is at least 2 hours before closing time of CAPQ. This is to ensure you have ample time for airport and customs clearance, as well as post-arrival veterinary inspection of your pet. |
